There's a new place in town for Christian Singers/Songwriters/Bands to express their gift of song. It's located in Lakewood and the address is 11011 Bridgeport Way SW, Lakewood, WA 98499. It's owned and operated by Mike Pond and I can't say enough about the place.
On Wednesday September 30th my wife and I went in to check the place out and we were warmly greeted by the young woman working there. They serve sandwiches, coffee, soda along with other items on their menu and are just recently opened their doors. The prices are very good and all of them are hand written with little money going to advertising. Later that same evening I went in after our church Worship Team practice and visited for about a half hour. They were very inviting and offered a warm welcome to Jammer's on behalf of Christ and the Cross.
The area has long needed a Christian Coffee house of this kind and it's very important that we as a community of Christians help support them. When ever you're in the neighborhood and you hear your stomach grown go into Jammer's and satisfy that hunger. You have to eat right, so why not eat there?
They not only support Live Christian Music but do so throughout the week. Here's their schedule for Christian music.;
**Monday - Country/Bluegrass open jam session 7pm to 10pm
** Tuesday - Open Mic Night 7pm to 10pm
Wednesday - Praise/Worship Open Mic 7pm to 10pm
Thursday - Karaoke Night 7pm to 10pm
Friday - Gospel Blues Open Jam Session 8pm to midnight
Saturday - Live Bands and Christian Songwriters showcase 7 or 8pm until midnight
Sunday - closed
